PRODUCT DISPLAY & CARE
How should I display my art?
Good question! Head to the blog for more in-depth information and art advice, but here are a few things to think about to get you started. If you'd prefer to get in touch with us regarding where and how to display art, I will gladly support you during your art buying journey to ensure you receive a piece you're sure to love.
To help you plan your display, each piece has its ideal viewing distance listed in the Product Specifications. This can make a big difference when settling on the perfect piece for your space. For example, a very large canvas, 36" x 24" requires over 1.5m space between the viewer and the art for it to be admired in all its glory, whereas a photograph half the size, such as an 18" x 12" requires just under 1m.
As you already know which wall you'd like to mount the piece on, (if you're unsure, this blog should help you decide) first wipe the wall down with a clean cloth to remove any dust or debris that could cause any damage. At this point, decide whether you're using a Professional art mounter, who can also can install art lighting, the included hanging hardware and a wall fixture or Photo Mounting Command Strips in Black or White to match the frame colour options and can support 24 x 36" up to 7kg, which is more than ideal for our prints and displays that are regularly refreshed.
If you've chosen to use professional art mounters or Photo Mounting Command Strips or Canvas Hangers do not attach the hanging hardware to the artwork. When using other display methods, this hardware can damage and scratch your walls if not attached to a dedicated fixture.
If you choose display the artwork yourself be sure to use a level, a measuring tape the ensure the distances from furniture, the floor and ceiling is to your liking, mark those areas with a pencil, hold the art up (with assistance) and mark the corners with pencil on the wall so you can decide exactly where to place the fixture in the wall. Once you've attached the hanging hardware on the reverse of the art piece you're ready to mount your new display!
How to attach the included hooks on 24″ × 36″ horizontal frames:
Place each of the mounting hooks 1 inch (2.5 cm) from frame corners when hanging horizontally.
I hope this helped you figure out where in your world will become adorned with Prints of Nature and which sizes you'll choose. Again, if you need help, please get in touch, we'd love to assist you.

How should I take care of my art?
To make the most of the vibrancy and long life-span of these artworks, a care advice leaflet is sent with every product. Here are a few vital tips that will help you choose the safest location for your piece, as well as how to take care of it and mount it.
Once you receive your eagerly awaited art, there are a few steps to take to make the most of the piece for many years to come. As mentioned before, our pieces are UV and fade resistant to elongate the lifespan of your art but for best results, but do protect them from direct sunlight, above a heat source or in a bathroom/sauna.
Upon handling the art, avoid touching the front of the frame or canvas to protect it from damaging skin oils and smudges. When it comes to dusting use a feather duster or microfibre cloth, after ensuring there is no debris hidden in either of them as this can cause light scratches on the product.
DO
- Clean lightly with a feather duster
- Place at an average viewing height on the wall so it's at optimum viewing level and won't get knocked by furniture or pets!
- Touch the back of the product when moving it around, to avoid thumbprints on the frame or leaving damaging skin oils on the canvas
AVOID
- Placing adjacent to a window or strong light source (our UV & fade-resistant products still need protecting from the heat and radiation from the sun either directly, through windows and doors to increase longevity.)
- Displaying art above a radiator or another heat source (it'll warp the art work!)
- Mounting on a surface that experiences extreme temperatures
